When I met Elena, I was a grown man in tears. I was being accused of something and had no means of processing what was happening to me. Hello, I was arrested on 10/31/2018 and Elena came to bail me out and that was the first day I met her. At that point, I just see her as another lawyer trying to make money off of me. After she bailed me out, she immediately made an appointment with me to explain what had happened. She keeps every...thing up to date no letting go any main points. The whole year she kept me calm and confident so I can continue on with my life not nervously. I feel her emotionally to really want to help me. The case didn't go well at all because I don't trust her yet. Elena make sure we were both up to date with me. Elena is a very patient, confident and make sure I am calm which is very important to me because I have seizures and Elena didn't know I have seizure until towards the end of the case. I remember one time that I've just came out of the hospital in September, 2019 due to another seizure, I was blacked out, I lost 75% of my memories. She is so nice that she didn't keep poking me for more informations, she just told me to go home, rest, and then come back to her when I am ready. Elena keeps posted on all court dates and what will happen next so I don't have to guess. She is very kind and immediately know I am a very private person. Elena keep telling me to tell her the truth about everything, I was hesitated. Then towards the end of trial, I start to listen to her, telling her everything from when I was born to when the trial ended. I should've listen to her earlier. Elena at last told me I have 2 choices, 1 is to go to trial or admit to my crime and hopefully bring my charges down. She reassure me that I will always have choices and she said she is willing to fight for me or just plead guilty. She gave me time to think. I know all paperworks are against me, so I easily choose to plead guilty. I know Elena worked on my case very hard and pays very close attention to it. I feel that Elena follow my case by her heart. Towards the end, she make sure I tell the truth on everything and that really helped my trial. She don't get mad at me for not feeling good, she really have patience. She know I am on daily medications for my seizures and sometimes she know I am confused and not telling the truth or just answering her questions just to get out of her office and go eat. The day when Elena told me I got 1/2 year jail time, my heart dropped because according of my case, it should be 8 years minimum. None of us who worked on this case could believe this outcome. Her office lawyers and employees, my family and friends do not believe what she did to get me from 8 years all the way down to 1/2 year. IF MS. My husband contacted the Blanche Law firm as I had been incarcerated in Rikers Island due to an outstanding harassment warrant in Delaware. Unfortunately due to an altercation with the NYPD court officers I was given additional charges of assaulting an officer, facing much more serious charges.
