T. Edward Williams

Edward Williams pairs a litigator’s edge with the practical judgment of a business lawyer. A Super Lawyers Rising Star in commercial litigation every year since 2015, he represents companies and business owners in disputes where the outcome can affect a contract, a working relationship, or who ultimately controls the business. His work spans shareholder and partnership conflicts, employment cases, UCC and securities matters, and high-value oil and gas disputes, as well as bankruptcy-related issues and international arbitration. He also has experience representing U.S. and international clients in matters involving the Defend Trade Secrets Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Edward’s story is part of what drives his approach; he was born in Liberia and moved to the United States in 1996 to escape the civil war. He earned his B.A. from Mercer University and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and he gained early courtroom perspective as a Judicial Fellow to Colorado Supreme Court Justice Gregory Hobbs and as an intern to Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Robert M. Russel.
