I think you have a good claim. The best thing to do is document it , establish any injuries with a doctor and then a lawyer will want the case.

A civil case can be brought even if you have won the criminal case. Remember O J ? He was acquitted oaf criminal charges and found guilty for money...

Unfortunately I believe in your circumstance it would be legal in many states for the dr. to refuse to see you if you can not pay.

If you settled I am sure there was a release off all claims.Also unfortunately in NY there is a 3 year statute of limitations, so no.
I was injured in cab accident 4 yrs....ins co made low settlement....lawyer said take it....I don't want to.what do I do now
