It's fair to say by the time I stumbled upon Ari Mor I had been through at least 7 L/T lawyers through the years. Obviously none of us clicked or I wouldn't have been back on the Internet reading reviews. New owner of Bldg new problem and boy did things snowball out of control. Initially it was a si...mple matter an issue with a lease. I read Ari Mor's reviews and in all honesty didn't believe most of them somewhat jaded NYer here. Cautiously optimistic his retainer was doable (I thought something has to be wrong) but at that time it was a small issue with a lease renewal I took a chance. Immediately I was shocked a lawyer who actually READ my lease! Immediately he noticed discrepancies. Keep in mind I had been here 15 years. One thing led to another with a new owner of the Bldg. Things rapidly declined, my peace, my health, my apt, my life. I can't tell you how bad things got, how many attorneys wanted fees that only a Bldg owner could afford. I remembered that mtg with Ari and my lease. I had bee representing myself to this point had fired another lawyer and basically was getting run over, and losing each time I went to court. Ari is calm in a nerve wracking profession. His expert eye for details, knowledge of L/T law shocked me as we were up against some aggressive lawyers. One in particular who stopped at nothing. Ari Mor's style is not to live on the phone or meet you constantly, when the chips are down the motions are in, the letters are written he does what you pay him to do. I can't tell you how behind his somewhat quiet demeanor is a first class real estate lawyer who is smart as a whip. For the first time in over a year the harrasement has stopped, the insanity has paused and tenant got a second wind, case withdrawn. You will not see a big fancy Madison Ave office but you will not pay the rent for it either. Ari Mor's fees are within reason all things considered. He is a winner in my book, I highly recommend, stick with the winners, not the whiners.

Can you imagine the day before you are to pick up your keys that you get a call from management to say-sorry, but you have no apartment because there was a mix up with the keys and your apartment was already rented.After the shock, anxiety, and what are you going to do now wore off some- I combed thr...ough my lease to see if I had any legal recourse. I found that there was a breach on the landlord's part regarding giving me occupancy of my apartment. This is where Ari comes in. After reading several of his reviews, I figure that he would be the person to get me fast results. I contacted Ari and explained my situation. He said that he would write a "letter" to the management on my behalf. Ari's letter got me the results I wanted. In 3 days I was given my original apartment back! Without Ari's help this would not have happened. Ari was instrumental in getting me the results that I wanted. I am beyond grateful!!!

If you are a NYC tenant looking for help, look no further. I found Ari through Yelp, as I was looking for help in handling an unwarranted eviction from my apartment of two years (landlord did not want to renew my lease). My case was complex, involving potential issues including a possible eviction, l...ong-term illegal deregulation, and rent overcharge. Ari was highly skilled and knowledgeable and essentially took over all communications with my landlord during the process. Ultimately, I was able to keep my apartment and received a lease for the same rate. It was clear during my interactions with Ari that he is deeply intelligent, trustworthy, and very experienced in his field of practice as a New York tenant lawyer. Most of all, Ari was fair and reasonable regarding cost of service and turnaround times. I had met and spoken with two other lawyers before going with Ari - one more expensive, one less - and found Ari to be, by far, more professional and reliable. I look forward to maintaining my relationship with him and in the meantime, highly, highly recommend!

We were selling our house and wanted our two tenants to move out as various prospective buyers have wanted to buy the house vacant. After a couple of months of speaking to the tenants (unsuccessfully), we decided to hire Mr. Mor based on the positive reviews on yelp. The entire process was rather s...eamless. I've only spoken to Mr. Mor twice, but he was always reachable via email. He represented me twice at court with one of the tenants, without my presence which was great as i didn't have to take any time off and can rely entirely on Mr. Mor. The tenants have finally moved out and now we can continue with the sale of the house. If you want an efficient lawyer for landlord/tenant issues, Mr. Mor is it! Definitely recommend!
