I hired Ari when I was renting an illegal basement in Kew Gardens, Queens, and the landlord performed an illegal lockout eviction and I sued them. We didn't agree on everything and the case didn't really get that much attention from Ari. But I could not have gotten a result without an attorney so it ...was the best option there was. We later discussed if he would represent me in a different case, and he said he needed the fee first which I didn't want to pay because it was just a settlement case not a court case. We had a case against a corrupted landlord. My mother was a senior citizen that was disabled and the landlord was trying to evict us based on nuisance that had no grounds. Spoke with Ari’s office regarding an eviction with my mom’s landlord. Elki right away stepped up and explain to me the process and how to strategize the case with the available facts. Ari’s Office shows that they are very knowledgeable with tenant law and what the landlord is responsible. We were abl...e to get all of our demands and gives us time to evaluate the landlords performance before making any payments. Definitely will hire again if I need to.

I moved into what was supposed to be a luxury apartment in late 2017. Little did I know, the owner(s) are the exact opposite of luxury. There was a handful of issues that should have not existed because they all should have been fixed before I moved in (dysfunctional stove, non-working lights, etc....). The owner(s) and management company, over two months after being told about these issues, had still not rectified anything. After giving them more patience than they had deserved and many emails and phone calls that were ignored, I had finally had enough. I chose to reach out to Ari based on good reviews that I had read. He asked me for all of the important paperwork and facts surrounding the situation, he sent a letter to the owner(s) and management company and pretty much took over all communication from there. They tried to do some bare-minimum things to smooth things over, but I told Ari that this was unacceptable and he fought for me with a calm but unyielding attitude that got me everything that I deserved and the owner(s) of the apartment I rent had to spend thousands of dollars to make me whole. I would recommend Ari Mor to anyone that is experiencing any housing issues.
