Mr. Eskenazi represents financial institutions in complex business litigation matters before state and federal trial and appellate courts and in federal bankruptcy court. Mr. Eskenazi has defended financial institutions in a variety of cases, including matters alleging violations of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as state unfair and deceptive acts or practices (UDAP) statutes and other consumer lending statutes and regulations, such as those promulgated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Eskenazi served as Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, NY.
Mr. Eskenazi also has broad experience in public policy and earned a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Eskenazi worked as a policy analyst for an education think tank and as a journalist.
