Bruce Jay Turkle

 I have been litigating complex commercial litigagtion matters for 30 years.

 I began my legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the General Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department representing City agencies in a wide variety of matters concerning municipal law, including challenges to civil service examinations; conditions in homeless shelters; disciplinary decisions and employment discrimination.  

After leaving the Office of the Corporation Counsel's Office, I was an associate in the litigagtion department of Summit Rovins & Feldesman until the Firm dissolved in March 1993.  Since then, I have  been with the New York City-based law firm, Phillips Nizer LLP, having been named a partner in the Litigation Department in 2001.  I specialize in commercial litigation, representing small and medium-size privately held companies and individuals.  My practice areas include fashion/licensing, corporate disputes, trusts & estates litigation, and municipal law.
