Patrick Michael Kennell

Patrick Kennell is a litigator and insurance coverage lawyer, experienced in many types of Professional Liability, Directors & Officers, and Financial Institutions matters.  He represents some of the largest global insurers in the U.S. and London markets.  Mr. Kennell serves as defense counsel to businesses and professionals for civil lawsuits brought in federal and state courts across the U.S., and he provides coverage and monitoring advice directly to insurers in E&O/PI, D&O and FI matters.

Mr. Kennell’s experience spans many classes of business, including directors and officers, management and fiduciary, investment funds, lawyers / law firms, architects and engineers, real estate professionals, technology, environmental professionals, miscellaneous E&O, fidelity / commercial crimes, employment matters, and more.

Before joining KDVG, Mr. Kennell seconded to the London insurance market, where he worked alongside a leading Lloyd’s claims team, providing in-house legal advice on a broad mixture of professional indemnity issues and large claims.  Patrick was a partner in the New York office of Cozen O’Connor, a large, international law firm.
