Whether it was speaking on the phone or meeting in person, Leta was exceptional in communicating everything clearly and calmly to me regarding my husband's and my prenup. With all of the heavy legal jargon used in the document, it can be very confusing and frustrating. Yet, Leta made the time to exp...lain it all in a pleasant and professional manner. Even if she wasn't available at that moment, she was very good at getting back to you and letting you know when she could set aside the time to give attention to the matter. It would have been in her favor to just get the prenup approved and signed since she was working on a flat fee, but she never rushed or pressured me in our conversations. My husband's attorney was charging by the hour so he felt compelled to get all his questions in at once. I was so thankful that I didn't have to feel that way. His attorney was not the greatest at returning calls or giving updates on the procedure. However, Leta was fantastic in helping move along everything and prompting more communication from the other attorney. This was especially helpful since my husband and I had a symbolic destination wedding in little over a month, and we wanted to get to our marriage license as soon as possible. Leta made it happen, and I have to thank her for getting all done while truly listening to my needs and looking out for my best interest (even when I forgot). It is easy to get lost in what you initially wanted for a prenuptial agreement. With Leta, she understood what I needed and was also able to convey it accurately to the other attorney. Another important aspect of working with an attorney is feeling comfortable. Prenups can be awkward and unromantic in how it deals with the sensitive topic of finances. Leta was absolutely great in the way we went over everything thoroughly without any weirdness. Leta gracefully handled it all.
