Biography
Kenneth is a detective in the New York City Police Department, assigned to the office of the Deputy Commissioner for Collaborative Policing. He previously served as legal counsel for the Police Commissioner's Project Management Office. While attending the police academy, he earned the First Deputy Commissioner's Award for Highest Academic Average.
Prior to becoming a police officer, Kenneth served as an Agency Attorney in the New York City Police Department's Legal Bureau from October 2008 to January 2012. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School in June 2008, he successfully sat for the New York and New Jersey bar examinations, and later the California bar examination, and he is currently admitted to practice in all three states.
Kenneth was also a partner at Chernyavsky & Rice, P.C., where his practice focused heavily on family law and estate planning matters.
In 2010, Kenneth ran for a position on the New York City Council. Although he was unsuccessful in his attempt, he has remained active in politics, serving as a Vice-Chair of the Brooklyn Republican Party, and is now a member of the Westchester Young Republicans.
