I began optimistic, but ended up quite disillusioned... 1) At the outset he made a concession to the landlord - w/o my knowledge or consent. This ended up costing me over $1,000. 2) He is not a good negotiator - he advised me to take an early offer, that was entirely inadequate; so I essent...ially did the negotiating myself w/him in the middle - this took extra time and cost me more in billed hours, but at least I got a better settlement. 3) He had the settlement check sent to him rather than directly to me (as I was expecting). At that point I had a small credit; but then - after the case was over - he tacks on additional fees, which he says he will deduct from my settlement check! I objected - then he added an additional charge?! I finally had to accept a reduced settlement check. This was a bitter, unjust pill to swallow. Very disappointing - to say the least...
