I am incredibly grateful to Nathan. I was involved in an unfortunate situation that did not at all reflect the reality of what happened. I was very worried and constantly stressed about what might happen to me, but after speaking with Nathan I felt encouraged that a good outcome was ultimately pos...sible. Nathan made me feel heard and understood, and that I was working with someone who actually cared about my life. I never at all felt judged, looked down upon, or even a hint of anything condescending — Nathan always treated me with the utmost kindness, tough love, and respect. In terms of my specific situation, Nathan spent countless hours, and often went way above and beyond anything that could be expected from an attorney. There were several times when things could have easily gone off track, but Nathan ensured that we always were both very thoughtful and comprehensive in all the actions we took. This often meant working very late into the evening when most lawyers would be “off the clock”. Nathan was also transparent about everything he did and he took the time to explain his thought process in detail to me. Nathan is not only an expert in the law and all the processes and procedures related to the law, but he also has unique qualities that are critical to successful outcomes for clients. He is one of the best communicators and negotiators of any attorney I’ve ever met — he’s tough when he needs to be, but he also moves things forward by building a good relationship with the other side. I didn’t realize the importance of this until I saw it play out. Many other lawyers are constantly adversarial, and thus miss lots of valuable opportunities to get results. Related to this, I also saw throughout my situation, that it is really helpful to have an attorney with a solid track record of credibility with both judges and DAs. Nathan’s well-respected record helps him to get results when other attorneys might run the risk of be doubted. Lastly, Nathan, having been a prosecutor himself, understands how decisions are made in a DA’s office and can tailor his approach using his unique understanding to get results in complicated situations. To summarize, Nathan is a uniquely talented attorney who genuinely cares about his clients. I’ve since gotten to know Nathan personally as well, and can say that his values are consistent — he’s genuinely a good person. I can’t imagine having gone through this with anyone else. All the hard work and skill Nathan dedicated to my situation paid off as my case was completely dismissed! Also, everything was totally expunged from my records.
