I hired this attorney in 3/2022. By the time October 2022 came and the courts had nothing!!! I ended up going to the bar association to file a complaint. Let’s just say I was more organized than this attorney! I won the case against this attorney with the bar association. I did get my retainer back.... But if you are looking for an honest decent attorney, this guy is not what you want!! He held me up from getting child support for months!! I still haven’t hired another attorney because this one really screwed me over with his lies.

In 2021, retained this atty on a child support violation order. Found him on Thumbtack. He never filed anything with the court. I did my research with the court & was advised not 1 petition was ever filed & then saw online as well nothing was filed. Never issued a refund to date. This man will take your money and not provide the services he promises. I hired him for a landlord tenant dispute and he did not even file the paperwork with the court. I ended up having to hire a different attorney who resolved the matter within 60 days. I am sharing my experience again because I se...e he has continued to scam others and I hope to save someone the trouble I went through dealing with this man. One look at his LinkedIn will show his true character and business ethics. Believe the 1 star ratings, I wish I did before hiring him. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

He claimed to review documents before court. He knew nothing about the case and continued to allow the other party to spew false information with clearly no idea what was occurring. Follow-up was non-existent. I have dealt with real lawyers, but just could not afford one this time around. An absolute... waste of time and money.

0 stars! Devastated! Manrique took our money ($3,500.00 retainer fee) and has not worked our case one bit! He first assigned us a “retired” paralegal to which was a horrible experience. We expressed our concerns then and when Manrique pleaded with us to give him another chance and apologized for even... assigning this retired paralegal to us and for the lack of communication he advised us that he would assign someone new named Amanda. We spoke and thought we would try again and give another chance. It’s been about a little over a year and during that time we did not get a set and confirmed court date. We were presented by the paralegal at the time with a supposed dated within September of 2022 and it was the beginning of the year at that time. She said she was going to work with the courts to see if she can get a date sooner and shoot for April. We never got any response or confirmation and everytime I tried to contact to get an update there was always an excuse. One was Manrique was on a vacation with his mom due to her illness he wanted to just take her around the world I guess. The other, the paralegal was going through personal issues and a death in the family. Even after waiting months for a response I never got anything. We felt so uncomfortable and felt we were being scammed! In which we was scammed! We reached out to the paralegal Amanda to state we did not want Manrique to represent us at all and we wanted our money back- our retainer. At this point they started disappearing. Mr . Sam Manrique ignored my calls and did not even address the issue. He never contacted us to even discuss what was going on. He never replied or contacted us to give us our money back. Simply nothing! Till this day no call no nothing and it is now end of July going into August 2022. For a family with low income and our savings at the time spent on what we though was going to be successful turned to simply be a burden, emotional abuse, and inhumane. We were promised no additional fees because of the first issue and now look, completely abandoned and robbed by this lawyer. During these times and babies to feed this has been such a impact financially- Mr. Manrique shame on you and God will triumph over our enemies and sees all wrongs and will repay.
