Ms. Gomez accepted an urgent discovery project of mine, which required her to review and analyze over 32,000 electronic ‘threads’ recovered from several electronic devices. In a little over two weeks Ms. Gomez (often working 20 hour days) was able to make sense of all of the minutiae (emails, photogr...aphs, GPS coordinates, text messages and phone calls) and produce a devastatingly accurate memorandum which was the key to successfully closing the case in our favor. To give a sense of what was required, the project required wading through all of the 32,000 electronic threads, eliminating spam, non-pertinent conversations, and re-creating timelines and conversations that may have begun with a phone call, moved to text messaging and ending in email, across various time zones with multiple interrupting communications and threads that ranged from the mundane to the precisely on-point. The memorandum that Ms. Gayton produced was a masterpiece of unassailable and deeply detailed, information that essentially closed the litigation Ms. Gomez possesses a phenomenal memory, where she is able to recall a single text messages out of tens of thousands, simply through the mention of a particular keyword. It’s extremely hard to quantify the project she worked on: It is as if you dumped pages from the phone book, excel spreadsheets, Polaroid photographs and GPS coordinates into an electronic version of a Waring blender, ran it on high speed, and then asked someone to sort them all out and make sense of them. Not only was Gayton able to do so, she was able to decipher people, places and numbers, put them in context, map relationships, travel and financial dealings and create a utterly complete picture of the activities of the individuals in question. In short, working with Gayton Gomez is like retaining your very own NSA.
