I don't know that a small claims judge would grant you those items, but you can certainly ask.
Whats a valid medical reason to not work overnight shifts if its making me sick as I cant sleep much ,no matter what i do?

Your doctor would be the only one who could diagnose you with such a condition.
Grand Jury Duty. If I work overnights , (work hours not overlap jury duty hrs), am i entitled not work for 2 wks of jury duty?

Easiest answer is that it depends on the depth of the background check in question I believe.

Difficult to say, I think an attorney would have to really dig through the transcripts and decision here before they could offer you an opinion.
Whats the difference between a temp and a substitute position? Can a substitute be a permanent position or its only temporary?

A substitute position is probably temporary, but your union should be able to answer this definitively for you.

As long as you file in time, the actual time it takes for the matter to play out will be dependent upon the judge you are assigned.
