Roland Richard Acevedo

I spent years working with the Legal Aid Society in New York City assisting homeless families with children. Later, I became the managing attorney of a small public interest office that serviced ex-offenders with various problems including parole, criminal and family law issues.  I have spent many years representing inmates in New York State and federal prisons and consider myself very knowledgeable on the New York State prison system and have appeared on numerous cable TV and radio shows discussing legal issues that affect inmates.  I have also drafted and argued numerous appeals in New York State and various federal courts on criminal and civil law issues.  I also have extensive experience in the area of administrative law and have appeared before numerous administrative and licensing bodies.
