The most unforgettable experience that I had with him was that he was able to answer my call despite the late hours at night (around 12AM in China that time). Because of that, my visa was approved. I am not surprised to read the previous reviews, i've learned that people can have dramatically different experiences with lawyers. I just obtained my greencard with peter and the process was smooth and painless. I got it 5 months earlier than expected. A colleague of mine is using him as well and he...r process is taking for ever, though i believe this is not peter's fault, but how the system sometimes work. I had other lawyers before, including one that served many celebrities and was totally useless to me. After him another lawyer that would write applications in such way that they would be audited, tgus delaying the whole process. Peter carefully studied my case and also corrected his predecessors mistkes. I am very pleaaed with the reaults. This said, i recommend you to be on his case, as you would be with any lawyer, just to make sure papers do not stay sitting not even one minute. Good luck to all.

Peter has been my immigration lawyer since 2006. He handled 4 of my H1B and green card applications. There were some bumps here and there, but overall my cases went pretty smoothly. Like many lawyers in NYC, Peter is VERY busy, so it’s quite difficult to reach him unless if you make an appointment wi...th him. His paralegals are actually the ones that works on all the cases, and he'll do the final review. Some paralegals that I’ve worked with are more responsive than others, but usually they'll respond within 1-2 business days. They’re usually quite on top of your case and knowledgeable. Since I hired Peter for my past 4 H1Bs and have pretty good experience with his firm overall, I decided to hire him again to work on my Green Card application. He appointed his lawyer Laurie Gu to work on my case. She is extremely knowledgeable and super super friendly. Because of the furlough in 2013 and my H1B expiring date approaching, I was very nervous. She helped me along the way and I couldn't be more thankful!
