one of the biggest insurance cases for a liftime

We had to deal with an insurance claim arising from the collabs of the twintowers 2001 in New York. It was about damaged property, business interruption and exceded one billion dolars. We were with this case involved in two mediations and motions vefore the supreme court of NY.

Perfect Advice for Germans doing insurance Business in the USA

In addition to the general excellence of Mr. Reif he is one of the very rare lawyers to be found in anglosaxon jurisdictions, who has a deep understanding to the basic differences in German and US Law. He can therefore much better consult German Clients than other American lawyers can (in spite of th...eir general undisputable quality). Moreover Mr. Reif even speaks very Good German.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
