Deena Marie Crimaldi

Deena M. Crimaldi is an Associate in the New York office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. Deena’s legal experience includes representing corporations in their defense of complex construction defect, premises liability, labor and employment, environmental, and toxic tort issues.

Deena has experience with employment and corporate matters including ERISA litigation involving employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and business transactions in state and federal court. Deena has been extensively involved in all areas of pre-trial litigation, including researching and drafting motions and memoranda on complex employment law matters and preparing for depositions of parties and non-parties.

With regard to construction matters, Deena has defended construction defect and  labor law claims arising from large construction site settings. Her past clients include a national hotelier and real estate developer, a large general contractor, and various subcontractors.

Deena served as an executive member of New York Law School’s Moot Court Association and was a member of its Center for Real Estate Law.

Deena regularly volunteers her time to serve as a judge for moot court and mock trial competitions in New York and New Jersey.
