David Joel Myerson

David J. Myerson, a securities lawyer and entertainment industry executive experienced in assisting and advising founders and financiers in transitioning young and start-up companies into mid-size and public companies. Beginning as an Attorney, Office of the General Counsel, Securities & Exchange Commission he became a Partner in Lefrak, Newman & Myerson, and predecessor law firms, who specialized in financing and representing companies in their intial public offerings. After their IPO's He joined clients Trust Mortgage Corporation (a NASDAQ mortgage broker) and TMC Mortgage Investors (a $250,000,000 AMEX construction REIT) rising to Executive Vice President and General Counsel. After a return to private practice he joined Bob Guccione's privately owned Penthouse International, Ltd, as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel and rose to President, Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and a Director of the renamed parent company General Media International, Inc, and all its magazine (Penthouse, Omni, Four-Wheeler, Longevity), motion picture, television and video production, and internet and DVD game subsidiaries through their public debt offering. He was then President, General Counsel, and a Director of AIMedia Group and Criterion Pictures, its feature film and its business training video distribution subsidiaries . He was then Vice Chairman Legal and Business Affairs, of Principal Pictures, Inc. and is a Principal and Co-Chairman and CEO of Myerson Entertainment Group and Myerson Business Group. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, admitted to the New York, U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Second Circuit bars after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.) and the Columbia University School of Law (J.D.).
