Matthew William Traylor

Matthew W. Traylor participates in various securities and shareholder activism matters.

As an associate in Olshan’s Shareholder Activism Practice, Matthew’s practice focuses on shareholder activism, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

Matthew received his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Binghamton University. While attending law school, Matthew served as a General Editor for the Cornell Law Journal of Public Policy, Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, a member of the Public Interest Law Union, and a representative for the American Constitutional Society.

Prior to joining Olshan, Matthew was an associate at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP where he specialized in prosecuting securities fraud, corporate governance, and shareholder rights litigation for some of the world’s largest institutional investors.
