Elena Giannattasio

Elena, a tenacious yet collaborative attorney and advocate, has been repeatedly recognized by her peers for her knowledge and experience in the field of matrimonial and family law. Specifically when it comes to UCCJEA and UIFSA cases, and cases involving the HAGUE Convention.

Elena has been practicing matrimonial and family law exclusively since 2014, and is experienced in all aspects of complex matrimonial litigation as well as in cases involving the UCCJEA, UIFSA and the HAGUE Convention.

Elena is a graduate of LUISS GUIDO CARLI School of Law, in Rome Italy, where she graduated with a concentration in Contracts Interpretation and Formation, and Finance, which are emergent issues in matrimonial law. Upon graduation, Elena has practiced law in Italy. She then obtained and MBA in International Finance from the University of Buckingham, in the United Kingdom. She relocated to United States to attend Fordham School of Law where she obtained an LLM in Banking, Corporate and Finance in 2012. Prior to forming Multi-Jurisdictional Divorce PLLC, Elena worked for a preeminent matrimonial firm in Manhattan, handling high net worth divorces and comped cases involving multiple jurisdictions, as well as for a prominent firm in Beverly Hills, also handling high net worth divorces.

Over the years, Elena has acquired expertise in drafting complex agreements involving multiple jurisdictions. Elena's ability to present complicated notions in clear and concise terms is often the key to reaching favorable resolutions.

Elena has been practicing in the areas of UCCJEA, UIFSA and Hague since 2017. She uses her personal experience to guide her clients through the complex process of having multiple courts in different states or countries involved at the same time.
