I recently hired Adam to represent me for my DWI arrest on the Westside hwy. I had refused the breathalyzer in the precinct on the advice of a friend of mine that was an attorney but not the type of attorney you want giving you legal advice on DWI's. I was arrested on a Sunday evening and needed to s...pend the night in the tombs. My wife called my sister who is an attorney and asked her to find a lawyer and my sister must have made over 20 phone calls to lawyers asking for recommendations for DWI attorneys she advised that multiple people had brought up Adam's name and when she told me "I have never heard an attorney refer to another attorney as an amazing lawyer but even better person" I knew I needed to go with Adam. My wife had the initial communication with him but even she raved about how easy he was to talk to him. He wasn't able to make it to my initial court hearing the night I got out because he was in California on business but he had one of his associates come. Honestly you could probably save yourself 1.5-2k by not having an attorney because nothing actually happens at the hearing where you're released but I would have paid 5k just to get out of that place so I didn't care. When Adam and I first met I introduced myself said to him "after all of this is said and done, I hope I can say that hiring you was one of the best decisions of my life", and even that is not enough at this point. Adam was so honest with me but yet the way he carried out the conversation I still felt reassured that the best possible outcome was going to happen. I'm a realistic person, I know that if a lawyer tells me that there's a 100% chance of me getting completely off that he's just blowing smoke but Adam wasn't like that. He actually wanted to know about who I was, where I came from, the circumstances of the evening and things leading up to that evening. He really spent his time trying to find out who I was so that he could humanize this terribly unfortunate mistake I made. The NYS stance on refusals is no pleas and he told me that it rarely happens the first time, but that if we were persistent there was a possibly we would prevail. Adam scheduled a meeting with me to review all of the court documents and get my take on everything and also did his due diligence in trying to find discrepancies in the court that he could use, not only if we needed to go to court but also in trying to persuade the ADA to submit a reduced plea. The first hearing came and went and no plea. Obviously I was very disappointed but Adam once again, reassured me that this wasn't the end of the road. Adam was so persistent with the ADA, constantly communicating with him and seeing where things stood, I really knew that he had my best interest at heart. Sure enough, in the days leading up to the second and final hearing before we would have needed to go to court the ADA sent Adam a message with the reduced plea. No misdemeanor, not ignition lock, a license suspension reduced form 1 year to 90 days and I think $450 in fines. When Adam heard the news he immediately called me, emailed me and texted me. You could just tell he was so excited that we got exactly what we wanted. Overall, if you read this, regardless of what your DWI/DUI situation is, you will 100% be making the right decision to go with Adam to represent you. Adam, if you ever read this, I am forever indebted to you!!

I retained Adam to help my son, who was picked up on an alleged DWI offense. From the first Adam exhibited a honest and sincere concern and commitment. He was always honest in his assessment of the case. No false hopes, yet no sense of giving up and taking the easy way out. He showed confidence... and comfort in dealing with the court system and was familiar with judges and the ADAs. But most importantly, he was immediately responsive to all communications I sent to him regarding the case and was never dismissive of any thoughts or concerns I had. I never ever felt that he treated my son or myself as just "another client". He got to know my son, which only added to his ability to defend him. He also had the ability to communicate information about my son to the ADA. Not in an adversarial manner, but rather as part of a process that he felt would lead to a just outcome. When you hire an attorney such as Adam, you find that he certainly has the experience to handle the case. But, what you don't expect is the degree of caring, which he showed at all times.
