Victor Paul Corso

Victor graduated from the State University of New York Maritime College, at Ft.Schuyler, in 1983.  He began his career at Alexander & Alexander as an Average Adjuster trainee, adjusting Hull and Machinery Claims for ocean and inland vessels. He attended the College of Insurance in the Evenings, studying Marine and Non-Marine insurance subjects.   Continuing his studies in the evenings, he graduated BrooklynLawSchool, in New York, in 1990, and practiced Admiralty and Maritime Law in New York for eight years before returning to an insurance company as a Manager of Marine Insurance Claims.

Victor joined MOAC/CNA Maritime, in 1997, as the Eastern Regional Claims Manager, overseeing all claims for the Hull, Cargo and P&I Claims Departments.  In 2002 he became the Risk Manager at Bouchard Transportation, Inc. the largest coastal transporter of petroleum products in the U.S., with 50 tug and barges. Victor was responsible for the insurance placement and claim management of the Hull. P&I, and Cargo programs, for the 50 vessel, including 300 crewmembers.  In June of 2005 Victor joined RLI Marine as the National Claim Manager to oversee the claims for the Hull, Cargo, P&I, and Marine liabilities.
