Steven John Fingerhut

I represent employees in New York and New Jersey in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases. Over my career I have obtained more than $30 million for workers through jury verdicts, settlements, and appellate wins.

I founded Fingerhut Law to keep the named partner on every case. At most plaintiffs' employment firms, the attorney whose name is on the door rarely tries the case. My clients get the partner from the first phone call through the verdict — discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, trial, appeal.

Recent results include a federal jury verdict in a hostile work environment case in the Eastern District of New York, defended on appeal before the Second Circuit; a $2,000,000 settlement for construction workers subjected to race discrimination; a $1,550,000 settlement for a content producer sexually harassed by a B2B marketing CEO; and a $975,000 settlement for a bank employee harassed by her director-level supervisor.

Before founding Fingerhut Law, I spent more than ten years at one of New York's largest plaintiffs-only employment firms, where I rose to partner. I am admitted in New York, New Jersey, the Second Circuit, and five federal district courts, and I am a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
