Our firm has specialized in patent, trademark and copyright law since its founding in 1980 (originally Weinstein & Sutton). Our founding partner, Ezra Sutton, began practicing law in 1971, and is a former patent examiner for 4 years in the Patent Office. I began practicing in 1998, concentrating on IP litigation.  I have 17 yeas of experience in intellectual proerty law, and related litigation.  We have obtained thousands of trademark registrations and hundreds of patents. Over the last 10 years, I began to devote more time to foreign trademark procurement, which has become a sub-specialty for our firm.  We also have built relationships with associate law firms around the world, to allow us to prosecute patents and trademarks in virtually any country or territory worldwide.

We provide personalized service that is prompt and courteous. During regular business hours, we do not use an answering machine like many firms, and our attorneys pick up the phone, unlike many others who choose not to be immediately available. We know how to get excellent results in an efficient manner, based on decades  of experience in the federal courts and in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. We know that if we keep our clients satisified, they will come back for new matters in the future.
