If they went to the trouble of having him picked up, they will certainly have him returned to GA.

He was arrested for assault. they wouldve thrown it out but he had a warrant for community service that he couldnt have possibly

He should go to court voluntarily and explain why he couldn't do the community service. The judge will likely give him a second chance.

If there is a warrant, paying bail would be counter-productive. Get an immigration lawyer.

If you are the defendant, th DA is required to give a copy of your statement to your lawyer. In fact, there should have been a pre-trial hearing...
