I have engaged James Kaplan on multiple occasions: -He provided will and estate planning services to my wife and me (e.g. will and trust drafting). On my recommendation he performed same for my brother. Everyone was very satisfied with his ability to listen to questions and respond to concerns in a ...thoughtful and understandable way. We continue to rely on him for updates to our plans. Fees have been reasonable and commensurate to work done. -He has advised our family on probate matters relating to two estates. We have found his advice to be sound and balanced, even if the recommendations didn't always correspond to our own initial views. We have worked with several attorneys on these matters (other counsels for out-of-state issues) and find that Jim compares favorably to our experience in working with such other legal offices focused on Estates. -He has advised on two smaller matters including a specific tax planning issue.
