I contacted Scott Claman upon a friends recommendation for the purchase of a new condo as their transaction went very smoothly. My experience was slightly different. The first contact was excellent and Scott was extremely responsive, even replying to emails while on vacation. Things went very wel...l until the first draft of the contract was produced. However some alteration were need but it became impossible to get a hold of him. Emails and voicemail got no reply for several weeks, jeopardizing the transaction, thus I had to hire a different lawyer to move forward. I sent a letter to Scott Claman to ask for my retainer back and go ta check in the mail 10 days later with the full refund but without any explanation (all things considered i prefer this than the other way around...). All in all things worked out but i would not recommend Scott Claman
