Robert Cooperman: Master Attorney, a Professional of the highest order

I have often said, "Thankfully, Bob is on our side. For 40+ years, I have been able to view Bob Cooperman,a master legal practitioner plying his trade. Acting on my company's behalf, operating at the highest professional level, involving an endless array of issues: contracts with vendors, staff, c...lients, foreign corporations, labor unions, government officials, setting up an international franchise, and much more. My company's client list included massive corporations and many government agencies. All of these parties employed in-house attorneys and engaged top law firms to represent them. Bob had to interact and negotiate with all of them. I never once felt we were underrepresented by employing Mr. Cooperman. to deal with these senior attorneys. In fact, I felt we often achieved more that we anticipated due to Bob's great skills, preparation, knowledge, diligence and dedication. If I had to summarize his efforts over 40 years; I would say that he offered objective assessments, wise advice, and he did everything possible to help us achieve our business goals. On the personal side; as I noted earlier, we worked together for 40 years. I was consistently aware of how well he changed and matured. Further this was a man who cared (a rare commodity today). I seldom recommend professionals to other organizations. But in the case of Robert Cooperman, I would gladly put his name forward, to start- up companies in need of a wise adviser with tremendous experience, all the way to an established company looking for guidance in selling itself. In summary; you could not ask for a better legal practitioner to represent you and a better person to share time with. President, A major Market Research Company

Outstanding Attornyes

My family started using Bob Cooperman as our attorney over 50 years ago. When I and my partners went into business we used Bob as our attorney and my partners were so impressed by his acumen, honesty and advice that they also started using him for their families too. As the firm grew we then used Dav...id Lester for our real estate issues and Asher Miller for our estate planning and also received excellent results. I recommended many of my competitors to Bob when they were seeking an attorney and was always thanked by them for it. They and we still use Cooperman, Lester and Miller for all of our legal needs whether they be business or private.

over the course of many years

We have had corporate employment issues which could have led to lawsuits; real estate issues where we needed to determine whether a property could be occupied in its then present configuration; personal issues whereby seasoned advice and counseling was highly valued; in all of these instances and mo...re, some of them taking months or longer to resolve, we were relieved and pleased in the outcome especially considering the alternatives which might have resulted. In one case, we had a verbal agreement with an employee which we both interpreted differently. There had been ample opportunity for the employee to recognize that the "deal" was over long ago, had not been discussed for 5 years, had not been fulfilled for 5 years, had not been questioned for 5 years, and was patently no longer in effect. And we discovered the employee double dealing, being employed with another firm while collecting a paycheck from us, which led us to terminate his employment. And yet, and yet.......hope springs eternal - and he engaged a labor attorney to come after our firm for damages of all kinds - Bob was able to negotiate a fair solution without the difficulties and uncertainties of defending an actual suit in court. And we learned a powerful lesson about "putting it in writing". As a matter of fact our employee "manual" which lays out all the conditions under which an employee is treated, including termination, was written in collaboration with Bob such that it covered all contingencies. In another instance my wife was the subject of a lawsuit for personal injury (i think the expression was "nail and mail" which shocked us out of the blue; and Bob soothed her (and my) anxiety and explained how these issues find solution and relieved a lot of the personal pressure on our psyches while the negotiations wended their way to a satisfactory solution thankfully covered by insurance. In another instance my son was keenly interested in a property which had, it developed, an "illegal balcony" and we were challenged to consider the contingencies (what if we had to remove it from an adjacent building supporting it, could it be cantilevered from the proper building and/or be required to be removed?" Bob was able to engage the services of a prestigious architect who willingly examined the property to provide his professional advice on what exactly, we were facing, and what our options were (it ultimately was removed). The ability to turn to Bob and his firm for advice no matter what the subject and thereby be able to make informed decisions has been a constant in all the years of our association, we could not be more satisfied.

Robert Cooperman, the perfect attorney.

While most attorneys delay and complicate , Mr. Robert N. Cooperman expedites and simplifies. He is patient, sympathetic, friendly, but mainly he is extremely learned and experienced. I LOVE this attorney, with is a must unusual emotion rarely earned by lawyers.
