Liza Suzanne Camellerie

Liza has spent more than 15 years focusing exclusively on family and matrimonial law, with unique experience in the private and public sectors, enabling her to help clients navigate the complexities of these matters with compassion, creativity, and tough advocacy.

Liza’s extensive practice includes custody and access, child and spousal support, paternity, equitable distribution, separation agreements, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, as well as child abuse and neglect issues. Prior to joining AMS, Liza spent several years at one of Manhattan’s top boutique matrimonial firms representing high net-worth clients. She also served as both a supervising attorney with New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services and a member of the Manhattan Family Court Panel. Liza has been certified by the First Judicial Department as an attorney qualified to represent children in custody and visitation disputes in both Manhattan Family Court and Manhattan Supreme Court. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association Family Court and Family Law Committee, the New York Women’s Bar Association Matrimonial Committee and Children’s Rights Committee, the New York State Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the New York State Women’s Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Liza graduated with honors from Boston University and earned her Juris Doctorate at the Syracuse University College of Law, as well as a Master in Public Administration at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

Liza lives with her son, Will, on Long Island.
