Jacqueline Sue Weinberger

Jacqueline S. Weinberger concentrates her practice on complex workers’ compensation litigation. In over 15 years of experience in the field, Jacqueline has defended insurers and employers before the state Workers’ Compensation Board, the New York State Supreme Court system, and the First Department of its Appellate Division. She also advises clients on trends and best practices related to workers’ compensation, and has worked closely with the New York Claims Association and the New York Self Insurers Association. Jacqueline’s litigation experience also includes high-profile and high-value white-collar crime defense.

Before entering private practice, Jacqueline worked for the New York City Police Department in a pilot program, the Civil Enforcement Unit, reporting directly to the police commissioner and mayor. In this role she litigated quality-of-life crimes in the State Supreme Court and Appellate Division. She also taught in the Police Academy and worked closely with undercover officers to gather evidence for cases and orders to show cause, and for trials.

During her time at Brooklyn Law School, Jacqueline worked directly for the Hon. Guy James Mangano, Presiding Justice of the New York Appellate Division, Second Department, and later worked for the Second Department’s Grievance Committee.
