She also held a summer internship with the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where she gained experience in matters involving the False Claims Act; Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA); the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); and the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA). She also compiled research and memoranda utilized in a multibillion-dollar settlement with a global bank.
