Christian Vincent Cangiano

Deutsch, Metz & Deutsch, LLP is a boutique Manhattan law firm representing a range of clients on a wide spectrum of business and commercial matters with a focus on corporate and/or commercial litigation.  Like the firm, my practice is spread between these two areas with a focus on litigation.  

As an experienced litigator, I have engaging in all major aspects of complex corporate and commercial litigation on both plaintiffs’ and defendants’ behalf, including: drafting and filing pleadings; analyzing and responding to discovery requests; drafting discovery requests; conducting and defending depositions; drafting substantive motions and responses thereto; arguing motions in both State and Federal court; appearing as both lead counsel and second chair counsel at trial in New York State and Federal Courts; drafting appellate briefs and successfully arguing appeals before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the New York State Appellate Divisions; representing client during meditations and arbitrations.

My commercial non-litigation experience has involved conducting extensive legal research on and advising on various aspects of corporate and commercial law, trademark law, copyright law, tax law, and contract negotiation and drafting. As well as drafting and filing trademark and copyright applications; negotiating and/or drafting various corporate documents including separation agreement for members of a limited liability company, corporate notes, escrow agreement, confidentiality agreements, nondisclosure agreements, noncompetition agreements, employee manuals, licensing agreements and various contracts; and, performing various corporate governance and housekeeping duties including drafting proxy statements, drafting notices of special meetings and helping in the compilation of corporate minutes.
