Alexander David Kharaz

Alexander Kharaz is an associate at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Wolf, LLP in the White Collar Criminal Law and Government Investigations practice group.

Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Mr. Kharaz was an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted hundreds of cases pertaining to assault, burglary, larceny, DWI, robbery, property crimes, and drug-related crimes. He also worked on a long term wiretap investigation in conjunction with the Investigations Bureau.

While in law school, Mr. Kharaz interned for Hon. Barry T. Albin of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Hon. Sidney F. Strauss of the Supreme Court of New York, Queens County and for Hon. Charles Posner, Criminal Court of New York, Kings County.

Mr. Kharaz earned his J.D. from Rutgers-Camden School of Law where he earned a Dean’s Academic Scholarship and was a member of Philip Jessup International Law Moot Court team. He earned his B.A. in English and History from Lafayette College where he was named to the Dean’s List.

Mr. Kharaz is a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Russian American Bar Association. He is also fluent in Russian and Spanish.

Mr. Kharaz is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
