Sylvia Tsai is very experienced in handling tenant eviction cases. During COVID, many tenants take advantage of their landlord because they are protected by the law. My tenant collected unemployment fund from the government but didn’t pay any money towards his rent. This tenant was a troublemaker, he... called the building department and the housing department for minor issues, such as broken doorbell, old paint inside the hallway, and even clogged the kitchen sink on purpose. I told my lawyer Sylvia about this particular tenant, she was super patient on details what I can do and cannot do. If I had any questions, she always replied me by email the next day. My lawyer helped me to evict this troublemaker tenant because the court was closed. Sylvia suggested me to file the eviction to court and wait until they open so I can have the court hearing date. However the tenant moved out of the property last minute before I got the court date. I asked Sylvia if it would be best to withdraw the eviction which she agreed it was the best solution, but most importantly she refunded half of the attorney fee back to me. None of the other lawyers that I’ve encountered would have done this, nor would they have been this considerate from their client’s standpoint. Other lawyers were impatient in answering my questions and concerns, and they even ignore my email and phone calls majority of the time. Comparing to Sylvia, she has been really helpful and always offer the best solutions based on her client’s situation. I would highly recommend this lawyer based on my personal experience!
