Biography
I am a cross-border commercial litigation attorney licensed in New York, and with experience in the UAE's two substantial financial free zones--the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
With early career experience in venture capital, I bring knowledge of US and foreign securities regulation to my litigation practice involving the enforcement of creditor and shareholder rights. Among matters I've successfully handled: (1) action involving misrepresentation in the sale of securities to an unaccredited investor who was induced to enter into a SAFE ("simple agreement for future equity") with atypical terms; (2) fraud action on behalf of buyer of commercial equipment (breach of warranty concerning the equipment's condition); and (3) enforcement of secured loans (mixed-collateral) on behalf of lenders upon default.
I am available to represent clients in New York, ADGM, and DIFC.
