With over 25 years of experience in business and the law, I’ve developed a unique niche in helping small and medium size companies build their business, develop their internal operations, and maximize revenue through marketing and sales strategies. I began my career managing a law firm that grew to over 20 employees and then moved on to a more entrepreneurial career, investing in various financial and service related industries. Below is some of my experience.

For over five years, I’ve been a legal and business consultant for a family of companies providing language services, E-discovery and technology solutions for large law firms and fortune 500 companies with an emphasis on global markets. The company is a global provider with over 90 offices around the world and over 4,000 employees.

Working closely with the leadership of the world’s largest privately held provider of language services and related technologies, I work with the executive team on a daily basis, advising on high-level projects from both a legal and business perspective, including contract analysis, and deal negotiations. I also manage the dispute resolution process, developing solutions for customers, managing client expectations, and resolving contractual and product-related disputes.

Charter Investments LLC is an individually-owned firm that looks for investment opportunities in growth sectors such as financial services, real estate, and emerging green markets. At Charter, my focus was to find unique investment opportunities such as niche small businesses, startups and corporations which needed a cash infusion. The focus is on optimizing a company’s profitability by improving the corporate structure, providing valuable insight on company operations, consulting on effective marketing techniques and more. Charter has helped dozens of businesses improve their profit-margin and achieve a high level of success.

I founded and created a successful Manhattan law firm, building it from a small operation to a firm boasting 20 employees. As managing partner, I tried over 100 jury and non-jury cases at the State and Federal level and oversaw operations, ran the marketing and business development committee and assisted firm attorneys in trial technique and strategies. As both an attorney and a small business owner, I have successfully negotiated thousands of settlements both in and outside the court room. overseen deal negotiations and evaluated executive agreements.

As an experienced litigator, I have gained an in-depth knowledge of how the New York Federal and State court system operates. My firm specialized in civil tort cases, including civil tort litigation, medical malpractice, contracts and products liability. My insight allows me to provide clients with special insight on the inner workings of the court system, dealing with opposing attorneys and knowing how to maximize value and succeed at trial.
