Biography
Carla Sanderson is an outspoken advocate for her clients, many of whom are experiencing the most difficult times in their lives.
Carla’s litigation experience includes jury trials in the Southern and Eastern District of New York, New York Supreme Court, and representing clients at every stage of a criminal proceeding from arraignment to sentencing. Cases Carla has worked on include complex charges such as multi-year racketeering, securities violations, organized crime, fraud, money laundering, sale of prescription narcotics by physicians, and conspiracy, as well as narcotics trafficking, firearms possession, robbery, and murder. Carla also represents individuals whose rights are violated due to discrimination by their employers or who are wrongfully arrested and prosecuted.
Carla is currently a member of the Federal Bar Council Inn of Court, the New York Criminal Bar Association, and the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York.
Carla is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, the Second Circuit, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
