Brandon McKenzie more than lives up to his reputation as the “Airbnb lawyer.” He and his firm have helped me navigate complex real estate matters and Airbnb regulations and legislation. Our association hired Brandon as a lobbyist, and he was successful in lobbying for the defeat of an ill-conceived b...ill that would have outlawed or unreasonably restricted short-term rentals. Legislators have since adopted a considerable amount of the language he drafted in a competing bill, so we are now much closer to a common sense piece of legislation that will serve the interest of all stakeholders involved.
