Amanda M. Lyons

Amanda’s journey to becoming a Partner is rooted in dedication, perseverance, and a firsthand understanding of what injured clients experience during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her path through the firm is a reflection of both her work ethic and her deep commitment to helping others.

Amanda began her career at the firm as a receptionist, often serving as one of the very first people clients spoke with after an accident. Through years of hard work and determination, she advanced through nearly every level of the organization — working as a paralegal, office manager, attorney, and managing attorney before ultimately becoming Partner. Few attorneys understand the client experience and inner workings of a personal injury law firm as comprehensively as Amanda.

Born and raised in New York, Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice before receiving her Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Growing up in Staten Island and building her legal career throughout New York City has given her a strong connection to the local communities she serves and a genuine understanding of the challenges working families face after a serious injury.

Amanda’s passion for helping people extends far beyond her legal practice. She founded the grassroots nonprofit organization “Amanda Donates,” reflecting her longstanding commitment to giving back to the community. In recognition of her volunteerism and public service efforts, she was honored with the Root-Stimson Award, which recognizes New York attorneys who demonstrate exceptional dedication to community service and meaningful civic impact.

Throughout her career, Amanda has worked closely on cases from initial intake through litigation and resolution, giving her valuable perspective into every phase of the legal process. That experience allows her to guide clients strategically while also ensuring they feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their case. She understands that behind every claim is a real person whose life has been unexpectedly disrupted.
