It will help you if you plead not guilty fight the case, as the judge may reduce the fine but it won’t result in a dismissal.

I’ve never seen anyone get jail time in your situation. You can only represent yourself with permission of the judge.

While it’s legally possible, I’ve never seen a judge terminate probation against the wishes of the PO.
