You can request an adjournment but it is I. The courts discretion and you need a good reason.

If it is a family court order then it can be withdrawn if your ex wants to drop it. If it is a criminal court order then it is not so easy.

In New York even if you share 50/50 time but one earns more income the higher earner pays he lower earned child support.
