Unreliable

Can't count on him for nothing, he is disgustingly rude with the smart questions he asks even if you're asking him for something simple while treating him with professionalism.

Posted by James | November 05, 2023 | Hired Attorney | Landlord & Tenant

He is the real lawyer for the Justice.

I had a legal issue with a tenant. I am innocent and I was wrongly accused. If you have experience with district attorneys, you will think that those DAs do not care about justice that you are innocent, they just want to win the case for their future. My first charge was misdemeanor and the lawyer... I hired did not properly deal with my case and my charge went into felony. I did not know about the US justice system and I did not know about how to deal with my charge I consulted many fancy lawyers but they seemed to only care about how much I could pay for. I was so disappointed with the lawyers. I was arrested again by the district attorney who came to my home and shouted at me. This kind of malpractice from the justice system seemed to be normal to convicted people without considering whether people are innocent or not. For 4 years, the district attorneys in New York Supreme Court tried to negotiate my charge without going to trials. For 4 years, I thought suiside more than 10 times. My life was ruined. Mr. Croce was my public defender lawyer and he worked for me for 4 years to prove my innocence in the court. I was very sorry for him because I did not pay anything. Whenever I would like to pay the lawyer fee. He said " I should not take money from you as a public defender, I am always do my best for my clients regardless of money. Do not worry too much. I really hate that innocent people are going to jail. I am here for those people. That is why I serve in this field. " I did not know very much about his work ethics and his legal creed at first time. With Mr. Croce for 4 years, I could see Mr. Croce made an effort for my case and he always care about justice and really good man. Also, He know the justice system very well and how to deal with the criminal case. He is an adjunct faculty in John Jay College of the college of criminal Justice He is very diligent, knowledgeable and very passionate to gather important evidence He always said "quantity does not matter, quality matters in evidence." In my trial, I truly looked at his knowledge and his passion to save me. He had proved my innocence very well and professionally. He gave me a second life. I always thank Mr. Croce.
