This lawyer was highly recommended to me by a divorced woman's boyfriend. He thought this lawyer was a "real tiger." My experience was not only a disappointment, but an example of what a lawyer should not do. The lawyer changed the hourly rate, ate a sandwich on my dime (meaning on my billable tim...e), talked to others not to do with my case, had the facts from someone else's case and asked if those were mine, didn't find important citations in my decree-- focused on the fees, and had no strategy that I could proceed with... she did help in that I decided to just pay for all of the costs of raising my child, and let her father pay nothing... instead of wasting time and rage and hiring a lawyer for a modification that would go no where. In the end, years later, with a different lawyer-- I did obtain full custody of my child.
