There is no way other serving in the US Army. But with a psychiatric/psychological problem like this you may be ineligible.

Both fill out I-864. Perhaps you should have a lawyer prepare the forms.

No, you don't. Attach proof of your current income such as several recent pay stubs and employer's letter verifying position and salary.

You can certainly take civil, and possibly criminal, action against him. Domestic violence may lead to cancellation of his visa.
