I am an employment litigator focused on resolving high-stakes workplace disputes.

My practice centers on representing individuals navigating some of the most difficult moments in their professional lives — from wrongful termination and discrimination matters to complex severance negotiations and employment litigation.

My path into this work was not linear. While in law school, I worked unpaid internships while supporting myself in the food service industry. Those experiences shaped how I view the workplace and the importance of a person’s livelihood and professional reputation.

After law school, I served as a judicial law clerk for a state court judge in South Jersey and later practiced across several areas of law, including workers’ compensation defense, in-house counsel work, personal injury, toxic tort, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. These experiences gave me exposure to how businesses operate internally and how disputes develop across different industries.

Today I practice at Phillips & Associates, PLLC, where I focus exclusively on employment disputes. I handle matters from the earliest strategic stages through litigation, arbitration, and trial.

My work spans the full lifecycle of an employment matter, including:

• pre-litigation investigations and strategy
• severance and negotiation disputes
• discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
• discovery and motion practice
• arbitration and trial proceedings

Over the course of my time at Phillips & Associates, I have contributed significantly to the recovery of millions of dollars on behalf of our clients, including multiple six-figure and seven-figure resolutions.

But what clients value most is not simply a number.

It is having a clear strategy during an uncertain time.

Employment disputes often arise when someone’s career, financial stability, or reputation is suddenly at risk. My role is to provide clear guidance, realistic expectations, and disciplined legal strategy so clients can make informed decisions about how to move forward.

Some matters resolve quietly and efficiently. Others require sustained litigation. Either way, I approach each case with preparation, focus, and respect for what is at stake.

Outside of my legal practice, I value an active lifestyle, training in long-distance running and tennis, and spending time hiking and traveling with my wife and our Irish Setter.
