Ethan Van Buren

Ethan Van Buren, Esq. is a graduate of UCLA School of Law where he achieved dual specializations in Critical Race Studies and Public Interest Law & Policy.

While at UCLA, Ethan served as the Comments Editor for the UCLA Law Review, a Staff Member of the UCLA Criminal Justice Review, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit and Josephine Vaughn Cooper Scholarships for outstanding academic achievement, and a proud participant within the UCLA Veterans Justice Legal Clinic.

After law school, Ethan clerked for The Honorable Magistrate Judge Lois Bloom of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where he managed nearly half of the Court’s caseload and where he researched a variation of complex legal issues, drafted orders, reports, and recommendations for dispositive motions.
