Denise Sharon Siler

Denise has spent her entire career in service to others. Presently she represents litigants in family matters involving neglect, custody and visitation, family offenses and uncontested divorces. She also handles criminal matters, including misdemeanor and felony cases.

Denise served as a prosecutor at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office for over twelve years. She has extensive trial experience as she prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony cases. She rose to the level of Deputy Bureau Chief of a trial unit that covered some of the busiest precincts in Brooklyn.

Denise also prosecuted child support cases for the NYC Human Resources Administration. She engaged in litigation which established paternity, initiated child support orders, and prosecuted non-custodial parents who failed to pay their child support obligations. This position equipped her with the knowledge to litigate child support cases. Prior to practicing law, Denise began her career in city service as a New York City Probation Officer evaluating offenders’ suitability for community supervision. In this capacity she connected offenders with rehabilitative services to assist them in remaining crime free while serving their probation sentence.
