Certainly if you have evidence that would show a bias of the witness it would be useful. This all depends on if the evidence is admissible.
You should probably contact a criminal defense attorney. The court may not be interested in a plea this time.
You would hope that the DA offers you an ACD which would be sealed after a certain amount of time. There is no expungement of records in NY.
